Doug Mellard - Writer/Producer
After abandoning the professional jump rope circuit with a torn ACL and a broken ego, Doug decided to grab a mic and hit the stage in 2003. Audiences in Austin, Texas were soon treated to an unprecedented brand of rapid-fire, topic-jumping humor that gets laughs where others take breaths.
Just a few years later, he was voted “Funniest Person in Austin” at the Capitol City Comedy Club by a panel of judges comprised of Comedy Central, “The Tonight Show,” and “Montreal Comedy Festival” representatives. He has appeared on NBC’S “Last Comic Standing Season” and Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham.” The former co-host of Sirius XM’s “Naked and Fearless” has also performed at Comedy Central’s “South Beach Comedy Festival,” “Moontower Comedy Festival” and at SXSW for the “Doug Benson Interruption.” Doug was a fan favorite and regular at “Fun Fun Fun Fest” performing alongside acts such as Henry Rollins, David Cross, and Slayer. If he’s not headlining a venue near you, you can catch him as a regular opener for Tom Segura or Dan Cummins across the country. Doug released his debut album on Stand Up! Records in 2015 and three follow-up albums that dropped in 2018, 2020, and 2021. He currently co-hosts Wide World of Dougs with Doug Benson.
Doug, never one to rest between punch lines, has been steadfastly writing and laughing his way up the creative chain-of-command. Expect Doug Mellard to continue delivering laughs as he moves his career forward to larger horizons. His comedic energy is infectious, and he is eager to spread it as whole-heartedly as he feels it. -
Joe Ahern - Director/Writer
Joe Ahern is a webbed-toed human who is fond of pizza. He’s allergic to dogs and cats, but he enjoys their company provided it’s not in a room with wall-to-wall carpeting. Before co-writing and directing his first feature, he was the Script Coordinator on 68 Whiskey (Paramount Network). Prior to that, he worked on The Guest Book (TBS), Raising Hope (FOX), and the CBS series, The Millers, where he co-wrote the Season One finale. Joe’s hour-long pilot, In Virch, was named a Semifinalist in the 2020 Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest. In 2019, his half-hour pilot, Beantowners, was named one of the Top 100 Pilots of the Year in the Tracking Board Launch Pad Pilot Competition. Joe co-created the web series, Driving Arizona, which was a Finalist at the NYTV Fest / Comedy Central Short Pilot Contest. The series has been featured on BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post, and Tubefilter. He has written and directed several short films that have played at film festivals across the country.

Dan Riddle - Editor/Producer
Dan Riddle grew up in Texas, and graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton. After kicking around with various Texas-based production jobs, he was (thankfully) laid off from his short stint in advertising. This gave him good reason to pack up everything he could fit in his little Nissan pickup and drive that four-banger to Hollywood. He landed a gig as an Office PA on a television production immediately! He worked his way from television Office PA, to Assistant Editor, to Editor, and is now a union editor on network television comedies, comedy web series, and indie horror films. Dan has directed two feature films, several shorts, and produces projects for both himself and his friends. He’s living the Hollywood dream.
